HealMind is pioneering a collaborative care model that partners with existing clinics to deliver ketamine-assisted treatment.
Rather than operating standalone clinics, HealMind works alongside healthcare providers, helping them offer specialized treatment while maintaining ownership of their patients and practice operations.
This model created a unique challenge: clinics needed an EHR to manage their day-to-day operations, while HealMind needed visibility into referrals, treatment programs, patient outcomes, and network-wide performance. No existing platform was designed to support both perspectives, requiring a custom solution built specifically for collaborative care.
We needed to understand every workflow, use case, edge case, and permission.
HealMind's collaborative care model required more than screens—it required defining how the platform itself would operate. Working from business requirements provided by the founder, I created the organizational hierarchy, workflows, user roles, permissions framework, and reporting architecture that would support both HealMind and partner clinics.
I also designed separate experiences for HealMind and partner clinics, establishing a multi-organization platform where HealMind managed the network while each clinic maintained control over its own locations, users, workflows, and reporting.
Once the operational model was defined, I translated it into a configurable EHR that supported both HealMind and partner clinics. The platform balanced shared workflows with organization-level customization, allowing each clinic to tailor permissions, reporting, and settings while operating within a consistent system.
Built in Claude Code, the interactive prototype allowed stakeholders to validate workflows, permissions, and reporting before development.
